PolyTALENT GmbH – your specialized digital recruiting partner for the plastics industry – is currently seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) on behalf of a leading international industrial company.
Our client is a well-established supplier of high-quality technical plastic components, serving key sectors such as automotive, hydraulics, and industrial machinery. The goal of this role is to expand and strengthen the market presence in Northern Italy and Eastern Europe. Your Responsibilities
Full responsibility for the customer base in the assigned region
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients
Identify and acquire new customers in target markets
Prepare quotations, coordinate product samples, and follow up on open opportunities
Conduct market analyses and develop tailored sales strategies
Regular travel within the sales region and close collaboration with the EMEA South Sales Manager
Your Profile
Proven experience in B2B field sales, preferably in plastics, automotive, or industrial applications
Technical affinity (able to read technical drawings and assess specifications)
Independent, proactive mindset with strong communication skills
High willingness to travel across the region
Fluent in English (required); additional fluency in Italian and/or Hungarian/Romanian is a strong plus
Familiarity with CRM systems such as Dynamics 365, SAP, or Business Central is advantageous
